First piece ready for bisque firing.
Learning points so far have been: prefer more round, curvy forms, need a heavy base for installation, less waste if clay is manipulated into initial shape first, carving has a crisper shape if clay is not too dry and ruler is used, pieces need to be bigger, clay maybe wet inside if thick and need to work on more than one piece at a time. Need to be bolder with my carving.
