Sketching The Day Away

Equipped with close up photos of boats in the Walney Channel I am wanting to try out a few ideas on paper. Also useful to sketch the textures from the rotten wood which I have acquired over the last few weeks. I have also made some sketches based on discussions at my boat yard visit. At the moment I feel I have a bit of information overload so think I need to try to focus on smaller tasks, pulling some common themes together to help formulate my form.

I have also researched how other artists have captured boats and ships in their work, sketching a few ideas down on paper.
