Preparations For Kecskemet, Hungary

Timescales yet again are tight as we prepare for the International Ceramics Studio study trip to Hungary. I am making a dinner service and serve/tableware as a permanent reminder of my trip to Kecskemet. This will be my first time using a woodfired kiln. My aim is to explore the use of crank clay and granular feldspar and how the glazes interplay with the material. I understand that they use very high standard porcelain clay which is particular to the region so want to exploit its availability whilst I am there.
