Went up to Hutton In The Forest in July for this event. Spoke to many potters who used lava glaze on their work. Many used 5% ratio in their recipes which is something I will try in Practice 3. Some of my favourite pieces either in the main display or included in the competition entries are below.
I took business cards from the artists and noticed a form by Jean Jenkins which reminded me of a boat, that could be worth exploring further in Practice 3.
