Potfest In The Park

Given the government restrictions this year it was great to get to an outdoor ceramic event and Potfest in the Park was the first one in the calendar. Obviously the number of exhibitors was reduced particularly from overseas due to travel restrictions but this didn't dampen the enthusiasm from the public.

I was very interested in how exhibitors displayed their work, some being more professional looking than others (top left & right, bottom right pictures). Identifying how modular pieces had been installed would hopefully help me present my work in the future (top middle & bottom middle pictures). I felt that the competition entries this year were a little lack luster unfortunately but given that we didn't know if the event was going ahead I can understand why this may have been the case, I particularly liked the sea entry (bottom left pciture) .

There were a few new exhibitors to the event this year which was nice to see, so that regular visitors like myself, get to see a wide variety of work. It was also great to meet up with a number of familiar faces who we hadn't seen since lockdown.
