So what influences our work?
We have been asked this week to produce a mind map describing what influences our work whether that be our environment, fellow artists, the processes we want to employ and what inspires us. I have therefore spent the past few days trying to put something down on paper which has been harder than I thought. The photos below provide a pictorial view and “flavour” to my mind map.
There does seem to be some common themes, texture being the main, muted colours, organic forms and impact. I am looking forward to sharing the mind map with my fellow students and also hearing how they have got on with the task.
